I'll eventually get around to re-posting much of the stuff people asked for (remember, it took me years to get it all posted the first time around), but the first of the month is always for Neil Young, so let's do both.

If you're a Neil Young fanatic, you already have this.  If you're a fan at all, you want it.

The stories are various - Ry Cooder played that night, and Neil Young was in the audience.  Neil was so inspired tha he got up and played this set afterward... Or - Cooder was ill and cancelled, so Young generously filled in.... Or - (this one seems unlikely) Cooder was bumped for Young, who wanted a warm-up gig for his upcoming CSNY reunion tour... or... or... whatever....  the music is great, the recording is very good indeed (especially given that it's an audience recording from 1974), the whole vibe (remember that word?) is relaxed and fun.  Highly, highly recommended.
